Think i may have found my babies heartbeat but seems slow, help please?
Hey! Got my angelsounds doppler through today! Im 12 weeks+5. Anyhow my fiance found the heart beat right away in the right hand corner of my pubic bone like as far down as the scanners go. The baby moved and we found it again in the middle, i roughly timed the beats and it was about 100 beats per minute. Now apparently it should be about 135 bpm, so i dont know weather i should be worrying or not 
maybe it was sleeping i dont know, it couldnt be my heart beat could it? not all the way down there? and only in certain places? and plus when the baby moved you heard a whooshing noise. Any advise would be great ty xxxxxxxxxxxx

You are probably hearing your own heart beat. You were probably getting nervous, and a Heart Rate of 100bpm for an adult is fast, but normal if you are worried. Next time, feel your own pulse and see if it corresponds to what you are hearing.
It can be tough to find a heart beat that early, and you should probably find it centered right above your pubic hair line. It will be very faint and should be 120-180 bpm. Use plenty of gel and sloooowly move the doppler over your tummy back and forth.
Be very careful with the dopplers. If they are causing you more anxiety, then put it away and just wait for the doctor to check the beat for you. At 12 weeks, the baby is probably going to be just fine. Good luck!
